Job Opportunity: Cybersecurity Engineer

Our client, a growing organization committed to technological excellence, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer to join their IT infrastructure team.

In this role, you will be the primary line of defense, designing and implementing robust security measures to protect the integrity and availability of critical data across both on-premise and cloud environments.

Core Responsibilities

• Security Architecture: Design, deploy, and manage a comprehensive security suite including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Protection.

• Proactive Monitoring: Monitor networks and cloud environments (Office 365, Azure, AWS) for anomalies using SIEM, EDR (Palo Alto Cortex XDR), and native logs.

• Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular assessments and penetration tests using tools like Qualys to ensure servers, PCs, and network devices are patched and secure.

• Incident Response: Lead the investigation of security breaches, providing rapid containment, detailed analysis, and recovery.

• Operations and Governance: Manage PAM (Privileged Access Management), enforce security policies, and stay ahead of the evolving global threat landscape.

• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional IT teams to integrate security into every stage of the technology lifecycle.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience: Proven track record in a dedicated Cybersecurity or Information Security role.

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of security architecture, cryptography, and risk management principles.

• Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.

• Cloud and Automation: Proficient in Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, or O365 Intune) and scripting with Python or PowerShell.

• Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.

• Certifications: Professional credentials such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly desirable.
