Responsibilities
• Support the Purchasing Manager in sourcing and procuring goods by obtaining competitive quotations from reliable and approved suppliers.
• Coordinate and manage the full procurement cycle, including supplier evaluation, sourcing, price comparison, negotiation, internal approval coordination, and delivery arrangement.
• Negotiate favorable commercial terms and pricing with suppliers in line with the company’s best interests.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of contracts upon supplier approval and award.
• Maintain close coordination and effective follow-up with suppliers and internal user departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with user departments through effective communication and collaboration.
• Assist in maintaining and managing non-food procurement records and documentation, including company policies and procedures compliance documents, price lists, product specifications, and samples.
• Liaise with relevant users to ensure timely processing of daily procurement activities and Purchase Requisitions.
• Provide support in work coordination and handle ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned.
Requirements
• Higher Diploma or above in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or other related disciplines will be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in the FMCG industry; experience in hospitality, restaurant chains, or catering (HORECA) is an advantage.
• Good communication skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset and basic negotiation abilities.
• Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Able to perform under pressure and meet tight timelines for key programs or events.
• Proactive, willing to take on challenges, with strong problem-solving skills and sound business acumen, including numerical sensitivity.
• High level of integrity with strong ethical standards and sense of responsibility.
• Proficient in MS Office applications is required; experience with procurement systems or ERP platforms is an advantage.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
