Software Architect

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the overall technical architecture across mobile, web, and backend systems.

  • Manage stakeholder requirements (business, product) and translate them into actionable tech tasks and roadmaps.

  • Lead and mentor development teams

  • Ensure scalable, high-performance systems using MySQL/Postgres databases and full AWS stack.

 

Required background

  • Proven experience as a Lead Architect or Senior Tech Lead in retail/luxury brands, e-commerce, or mobile app development.

  • Deep familiarity with the retail/luxury industry: customer experiences, omnichannel retail, loyalty apps, event management systems.

  • Hands-on expertise in React Native (mobile/web), Node.js/TypeScript full-stack, MySQL/Postgres, AWS (full lifecycle).

 

Soft skills & profile

  • Excellent stakeholder manager: bridge business needs with engineering execution.

  • Mentor/coach mid-level devs; comfortable scaling small teams (6 devs total).

  • Passionate about retail/luxury tech: able to contribute thoughtful comments on trends like app-based shopping or private events.
