Job Purpose:

As a Business Analyst, you will act as the primary conduit between our business stakeholders and our Engineering teams. You will be responsible for translating complex financial requirements into technical specifications for our next-generation trading and settlement platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Management: Lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• System Analysis: Analyze and document current-state vs. future-state workflows, focusing on efficiency and regulatory compliance.

• Technical Bridging: Translate business needs into detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and Technical Specification Documents (TSD).

• UAT Coordination: Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including the creation of test cases and managing defect triage with the QA team.

• Process Mapping: Create visual process flows using BPMN or UML to illustrate system logic and data architecture.

• Project Delivery: Assist Project Managers in tracking milestones using Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira/Confluence.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Experience: 1–5 years of BA experience within Fintech, Banking, or Securities.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.

  • Experience with API documentation (Swagger/Postman).

  • Familiarity with financial messaging protocols (e.g., FIX, ISO 20022).

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Nice-to-Have: Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or PSM (Scrum Master).
