Business Development Manager (Relocation Corp)


Our client is a global mobility company specialising in managing and delivering high-quality relocation services worldwide. Their core competence is providing services that help corporations and their employees as well as individuals and their families to relocate and settle in new places.

This Business Development role will be based in the Tokyo office, responsible for identifying key contacts within targeted named accounts, solicit new business, identify and facilitate any new business / RFP process to secure additional business for the company.



  • Identify and create new sales opportunities to increase clients base for moving services and relocation services, eg.Immigration, Destination, Assignment Management services
  • Develop strong network in the market, expand new contacts and accounts
  • Implement a disciplined process on clients’ activities and build a strong and reliable pipeline
  • Collaborate with sales leaders and management to maximize clients’ engagement and acceleration
  • Be a subject matter expert and deliver consultative advice, best practice and industry updates to clients
  • Provide effective sales presentations and accurate documentation for HR, global mobility and procurement executive level
  • Meet/exceed agreed revenue targets
  • Meet/exceed agreed new appointment targets
  • Weekly Huddle with North Asia team on sales activities and accounts progression


  • B2B sales experience in services solution selling
  • Sound working knowledge of global mobility/relocation process (industry experience preferred)
  • Demonstrate strong sales skills across the sales opportunity lifecycle
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and cultivating high value sales opportunity – a sales “hunter”
  • Ability to proactively call on management level clients through phone and in-person sales presentations
  • Demonstrate a customer focused approach to problem solving and resolution skills
  • Ability to sell contracted services
  • Ability to maintain positivity and composure in challenging situations
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to details and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Drive, confidence, enthusiasm and a strong desire to exceed targets with dedication to company
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented
