An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an established accounting professional to join a boutique Foreign Bank branch based right here in Hong Kong. Job Duties:

• Report directly to the CE of the bank branch and work in a small team of less than 5.

• Take the lead on day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring the smooth operational flow of the finance department.

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing cycles with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Produce, review, and evaluate comprehensive financial statements and management reports in accordance with relevant standards.

• Provide clear and insightful financial analysis and commentary to support senior leadership and head office decision-making.

• Liaise closely with internal business units, corporate headquarters, and external auditors to ensure efficient reporting and smooth audit cycles.

• Monitor and enhance internal financial controls, keeping a proactive eye out for process improvements and accounting standard changes.

Job Requirements:

• A university degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Holding a professional CPA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)

• Solid track record (10+ years) in financial reporting AND HKMA regulatory reporting within the banking sector.

• Strong analytical mindset coupled with a detailed and structured approach to problem-solving.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate smoothly across different teams.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
