What you’ll do

• Handle enquiries and follow up on all sales related queries
• Be the point of contact and communicate with internal & external customers throughout the entire booking period
• Conduct cross selling and maintain good relationship with customers to increase sales income
• Conduct site visit for prospects
• Gather event’s information/requirement and provide instruction to Operation Team and AV Team on all operational requirements
• Communicate and coordinate with internal parties and 3rd parties’ contractors on event set up and requirements
• Deal with RFB operators on catering services and all pre-event coordination
• Provide on-site venue support for events
• Prepare reports, issue invoice and handle payment process
• Ensure accuracy of information maintained in HKSTP database system
• Attend regular internal meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Key qualifications

• Tertiary education in any disciplines
• 2 years’ work experience in related fields. Event co-ordination experience in MICE or hospitality industry is preferred but not essential; Substantial experience in managing large-scale events is an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in handling basic AV equipment and F&B is highly preferred
• Fresh graduate with 0-2 years’ relevant experience will be considered as Assistant MICE Operation Officer

Personal skills you excel

• Good command of spoken and written in English, Chinese and/or Mandarin
• Knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with effective communication skill
• Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills
• Energetic and outgoing
• Willing to work on irregular hours and weekend / public holiday
• Immediate available is preferred
• Working locations: Hong Kong Science Park & InnoCentre & Data Technology Hub
