Highlight : 

The primary responsibility of this role is product design and development for projects being turned over from various design teams.

This role reports to the Senior Designer, and you will work closely with your counterparts in Design, Engineering, and Project Managements to ensure project are completed to the set quality standards within schedule.

Basic Function:

Product design and development

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Product design and development for projects being handed over from various design teams. Major responsibilities include:
    - Concept design
    - Design sketching and rendering development
    - Aesthetic control drawing
    - Monitoring of sculpture and model making
    - Follow-up through production
    - Work with other parties or vendors when in product development process
    - Color and decoration specifications
    - Generate PDS as guideline for costing and product development process

• To prepare presentation materials for phase reviews & development meetings

• To monitor design development progress to ensure jobs will be completed at set quality standard and schedule

• As a gatekeeper for all the pilot sample turnover

• Brainstorm ideas for new product concept

• Provides supporting coverage for the US team during onsite visits. Willing to travel oversea such as Mainland China or Vietnam

 Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Design or related disciplines

• Training in industrial/Product Design, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in toy industry

• Good sketching skills

• Proficient in design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

• Hands on experience in 3D software – Zbrush, KeyShot.

• Good team player, able to work independently, and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibilities

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese      

 Work Location: Chai Wan (commercial building close to MTR station)
