IT Business Analyst (6-months contract)

The IT Business Analyst position will be responsible to work with the key business users on Product Engineering, Sales & Commercial and partner with Solution Delivery/ePMO/Global Infrastructure to provide consultation services for business users. Also he / she will work with the Solution Provider for regional initiatives implementation, Coordinate internal and external consultant team to provide effective IT support and CI service to business and meet business expectations.

How you will do it

  • Build alignment between the IT organization and the Business/Functional units to ensure that the IT organization delivers the maximum business value via business capability enablement in the region.
  • Helping align the IT strategy for each Business unit so that it is aligned with the Enterprise goals and mission.
  • Coaching and encouraging Business colleagues about the potential Business uses of particular technologies that unlock the information in the Systems or enhance business processes – and influencing Central Functions regarding Business needs.
  • Ensuring a real-time understanding of the changing requirements and market conditions of a Business or Functional group.
  • A structured process that effectively determines the overall value of an initiative and creates a mechanism for assessing the relative importance, priority and contribution of specific opportunities for the Enterprise, Business or Function.
  • Effectively sharing the results of key decisions, processes or programs that support the goals of the Business or Function.
  • Advising the business on potential opportunities for IT enablement and interfacing directly with business and process owners both locally and globally
  • To coordinate all project implementation, IT services provided, cultivate and sustain a productive and valuable relationship with business, and supporting Biz/IT initiatives implemented in the regions.
  • To establish effective communication and interaction with global or key business or IT stakeholders in the responsible region to ensure alignment of IT services or solutions deliver per business expectations.
  • To work with global central team, application support and solution delivery team, technology service team, deployment management and IT governance team to support business IT initiatives in the region.
  • To manage the scope and prioritize IT demands from business. Identify issue and risk mediation and escalate to specific functions or line of business. Identify IT business objectives, gaps and common missions and concepts in regions. Enhance IT’s understanding of the business and advocate for business within IT.
  • Developing and manage service catalog. Critical incident monitoring and participation in resolution. Resources from functional IT teams to be pull in to support business requirement study or analysis if needed.

  • Proactively providing IT consultancy services and application support to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Strong customer service oriented and commitment to the needs of JC businesses
  • Highly effective communication between business and IT teams across the globe and the region

Preferred

  • Degree (or above) in IT, MIS or comparable field
  • 4-5 years of work experience in Business Analyst role, Knowledge on SFDC CRM and Marketing Application preferred, business applications analysis or relevant to IT support services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English, and Mandarin
  • Willing to meet challenges, hard working & able to work under pressure
