Responsibilities:

• Lead the product design team in developing and executing design strategies that align with business goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to define product vision and requirements.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience.

• Oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of design assets.

• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.

• Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

• Create and maintain design guidelines, ensuring consistency across all products and platforms.

• Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

• Proven track record of successfully launching products in a collaborative environment.

• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and methodologies.

• Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Solidworks, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.

• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret user feedback and data.

• Passionate about design and innovation.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in specific industry, e.g., technology, consumer products, etc.

• Familiarity with prototyping tools and techniques.

• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Product Design Manager.
