Planning Executive I (Material Planner)

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ordering materials and maintaining an efficient inventory.
  • Monitor inventory level and shortages
  • Responsible for the planning of materials to support the production schedules
  • Coordinate material flows throughout product or BOM changes, obsolescence and new product development
  • Assist in ad hoc duties as required by supervisor

Requirements

  • Degree or Higher Diploma holder in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Logistic Engineering / Supply Chain Management
  • 2 - 3 years relevant working experience, in Food Manufacturing is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel (e.g.  VLOOKUP and Pivot table etc.)
  • Working Knowledge of MRP and ERP Systems is preferable
  • Strong analytical and able to work with mathematical concepts
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
