Taishan Insurance Brokers Limited (TIB) is looking for a General Manager. TIB is a wholly owned subsidiary of KLN Logistics Group Limited, it is a regional insurance brokers and risk management consultant firm. It helps clients succeed by defining, designing, and delivering innovative industry-specific solutions that help them effectively manage risk.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the company's overall strategy, operations, and day-to-day management.
• Serve as the licensed Responsible Officer in accordance with the Insurance Authority’s regulatory requirements.
• Oversee budget planning, financial control, and maintain the fiscal health of the company.
• Drive business development initiatives and secure new corporate and retail clients.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations under the Insurance Ordinance and guidelines set by the Insurance Authority.
• Provide strong leadership to the team and foster a high-performance culture.
• Serve as the principal representative of the company in communications with regulators, auditors, and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with 5 years in a senior supervisory role in an insurance brokerage firm.
• Holder of a recognized insurance professional qualification such as ACII, ANZIIF (Senior Associate), or equivalent.
• Eligible for approval as a Responsible Officer under the Hong Kong Insurance Authority licensing regime.
• Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
• Strong understanding of insurance brokerage operations and local compliance standards.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Proficient in MS Office application.
