Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cost planning and cost control of all Hong Kong projects
• Ensure the progress of the developments is up-to-date and all quantity surveying related responsibilities are operated in the highest quality
• Advise project team on cost effective and value-added improvement works
• Review and evaluate existing systems, tendering processes, and pricing strategies to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness
• Monitor the procurement process including tendering, recommendation and contract award
• Responsible for payment process, variations costs, claims and final account
• Manage and monitor consultants and contractors performance in costs and contractual aspects
• Work independently and report directly to Top Management

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying and member of HKIS or RICS
• Minimum 15 years relevant experience in quantity surveying of which 5 years in managerial role
• At least 10 years experience in residential development; a strong background and an extensive network with main contractor side is an advantage
• Strong technical knowledge in measurement, cost estimating, construction technology, contracts, and construction law
• Attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua
