Our Data & Analytics team assists clients to develop and execute their strategies by optimising the use of information. We enable businesses to provide the right data to the right people at the right time, and realise their objectives through insights from their data.
Key Responsibilities
Data Strategy, Architecture and Implementation:
Plan, design and lead the implementation of large-scale data solutions.
Develop enterprise data strategies and blueprints to meet client goals.
Design relational, NoSQL, and data warehouse models (star/snowflake schemas).
Create data flow diagrams and integration plans.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Partner with IT teams, analysts, and business leaders to translate clients’ vision into technical solutions.
Advise on technology selection (databases, ETL tools, cloud platforms).
Develop go-to-market strategies with team leaders and build internal team capability.
Governance & Compliance:
Implement data governance frameworks and ensure adherence to GDPR, HIPAA, or CCPA.
Define data security protocols and access controls.
Optimization & Innovation:
Solution performance assessment; recommend optimization and scalability improvements.
Stay updated on trends (e.g., AI/ML, big data, IoT).
Documentation:
Maintain architecture diagrams, technical specifications, data dictionaries, and process workflows.
Contribute to use case development, e.g. workshop to gather and validate business requirements.
Experience & Background
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering or related field
At least 5-year experience in Cloud data architecture, like building cloud scalable and high-performance data lake/data warehouse solutions, such as Azure, AWS and GCP
At least 5-year experience with relational databases and data warehouses such as SQL Server, Oracle and Teradata
Strong technical understanding of data modelling, design and architecture principles and techniques across master data, transaction data and derived/analytic data
Experience with Agile & DevOps methodologies
Knowledge of market trends and emerging technologies such as blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Streaming (Kafka) etc would be a bonus
High level of business acumen and strong problem-solving skill
Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies
Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously
Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in both spoken and written English (and Chinese)
