Kum Shing is seeking a high-caliber professional electrical engineer to join our E&M team in delivering critical electrical and mechanical works across major energy infrastructure and capital projects. This role assumes full ownership of end-to-end project execution, from design coordination and tendering through installation, testing, and handover, ensuring delivery in strict compliance with contractual, safety, and quality standards.
As a key technical and project leadership role, you will partner closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to drive project performance, optimize resources, and deliver seamless multi-trade integration across complex E&M packages. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale, high-impact projects while advancing engineering excellence and operational performance.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for managing engineering projects from initiation through completion;
Develop installation programs and lead tender preparation and evaluation;
Oversee design development, procurement, and multi-trade coordination;
Define technical specifications and manage contractor selection;
Supervise installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities;
Monitor site progress and coordinate engineering resources to ensure full compliance with contractual and quality requirements.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline;
Minimum 8 years of experience in E&M projects with a main contractor;
Chartered Engineer and/or corporate membership in relevant engineering institutions preferred;
Registered Electrical Worker (Grade C0H0);
Digitally proficient in office productivity and engineering design tools;
Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
Effective communicator with well-developed stakeholder management skills;
A proactive, solution-driven team player with a strong sense of ownership;
Driving licenses (Class 1 and 2).
