Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the production of pastries and other related products
Maintain, monitor and improve quality performances to comply with the prescribed food quality
Carry out Cost control planning such as food and ingredients, and ordering & inventory management
Set up and maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene
Inspect kitchen supplies, equipment and work areas to ensure conformance to establish standards
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience (candidates with less experience may be considered for the Pastry Commis role)
Creative and quality-oriented
Smart, team player, hard working, good interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized with problem solving and multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of food health, safety and hygiene compliance
Knowledge of menu planning, cost control and kitchen management is an advantage
IMMEDIATE AVAILABLE is highly preferred
