We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis Chef. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a dynamic kitchen environment focused on Yunnan cuisine. As a Commis Chef, you will work closely with our culinary team to support the preparation and presentation of dishes that showcase the rich flavors and techniques of our menu.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Head Chef.

• Ensure that all ingredients are prepped and ready for service, maintaining a well-organized workstation.

• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times, contributing to a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak times.

• Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils to uphold high cleanliness standards.

• Take part in the training and development of junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar kitchen role is preferred but not required.

• Basic understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.

• Passion for culinary arts, with a desire to learn and grow in a fine dining environment, especially in relation to Yunnan cuisine.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in food preparation and presentation.
