About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, driving significant cost savings, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and value from our supplier partnerships. You will act as a key business partner, identifying opportunities and implementing procurement initiatives that align with our corporate objectives and deliver tangible bottom-line impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Cost Management:
Execute category strategies for dedicated product/service to achieve annual cost savings and value-add targets. Lead the end-to-end contractor management process, including sourcing, performance evaluation, negotiations, and relationship management to ensure optimal service and value.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify procurement opportunities, understand business needs, and deliver effective sourcing solutions that gain stakeholder acceptance.
Contract Negotiation:
Lead complex commercial and contract negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms, mitigate risk, and protect the company's interests.
Policy & Compliance:
Ensure all procurement activities and purchase requisitions are processed in strict compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Market Analysis:
Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, the supplier landscape, latest technology and the business environment in Hong Kong to identify new opportunities and risks.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement or a similar role within a sizable organization.
Proven track record in delivering significant cost savings and managing complex supplier contracts and negotiations.
Strong understanding of supply contract terms and conditions, and the market dynamics within Hong Kong.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with other procurement-related software is a plus.
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin are essential).
