MAINFREIGHT ASIA — REGIONAL TENDER SPECIALIST (ASIA)

Location: Hong Kong Reports to: Commercial GM, Asia Function: Commercial

The Role

You will own the end-to-end tender and RFQ process for Mainfreight Asia — from qualification through to submission and post-award review. Working directly with the Asia Commercial GM and our Air, Ocean, and Warehousing product teams across 10+ markets, you will be the person who makes sure we show up to every bid prepared, competitive, and sharp. This is not a support role. It is a specialist function with real commercial impact.

What You Will Do

1. Manage the full bid lifecycle — qualification, pricing coordination, submission, and post-award review

2. Coordinate and oversee inputs across Air, Ocean/LCL, Warehousing, and country teams

3. Track pipeline and conversion rates; feed insights into regional commercial planning

4. Analyse competitor pricing to sharpen bid positioning

What You Bring

1. Minimum 3 years' experience in Air & Ocean freight forwarding with direct exposure to tender / RFQ management

2. Title commensurate with experience

3. Solid understanding of Air and Ocean FCL/LCL pricing mechanics

4. Organised, analytical, and comfortable running multiple bids under deadline

5. Strong written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
