The Job

• To assist in developing plans, budgets and forecasts and perform in-depth financial analysis to support financial control;

• To monitor operations relating to payments, receipts, investment accounting, fixed assets, budget, payroll and staff related payments;

• To review and ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, systems and procedures;

• To prepare financial statements in a timely manner for internal and external reporting purposes;

• To develop and implement reporting system and tracking mechanism to appraise operating performance;

• To maintain financial information system and applications;

• To check compliance of procurement policies and procedures;

• To assist in preparing papers on financial results and procurement matters;

• To supervise and manage staff in performing their duties;

• To facilitate collaboration and communication between finance team and various stakeholders to enhance financial processes, reporting and decision-making; and

• To perform other duties as assigned.
  

The Person

• A recognized degree, preferably in Accountancy, or equivalent;

• A qualified membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, or equivalent;

• At least eight years of relevant experience in financial control, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, financial management, financial reporting, auditing and financial analysis, preferably gained from sizeable organizations;

• Experience in auditing gained from sizable audit firms will be an advantage;

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and

• Mature, detail-minded and able to work independently and under pressure.
  

Remuneration Package

A competitive remuneration and benefits package including a discretionary performance-linked variable pay, annual leave, medical, dental and life insurance coverage, and MPF will be offered. All new appointments will be made on a two-year fixed-term contract initially prior to consideration for appointment on a non-fixed-term basis.
