Job Description

Our client is a multinational bank with all-rounded financial operations at its prime within the APAC region. They are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support their COO Finance Department in a dynamic banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the finance department with various data projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of insights
• Engage in end-to-end project planning, development, and design to meet the project objectives
• Transfer and transform data from SQL to Python, ensuring efficient data processing and analysis
• Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality results
• Perform data massage and cleaning to prepare datasets for new data platform development
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies

Key requirements::

• Degree holder in Information System, Statistics, Data Science or related disciplines
• 1-2 years of experience in a data analysis role
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience in data transformation is essential
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets
• Experience in dashboard creation is advantageous
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Open to candidates without a banking background
• Willingness to learn about the finance industry is essential
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
