Temporary Conductor for School Orchestra (Starting in Feb 2025)

We are an aided secondary school established on Christian principles. We are seeking a suitable candidate to conduct our School Orchestra.
Role and responsibilities:
- To provide regular training every Wednesday, 16:00 – 18:00
- To arrange and prepare the Orchestra for internal and external performances and competitions
- For our extra-curricular training classes on various areas:
- Chinese & Western musical instruments (such as Dizi, Choir, Western Orchestra, Chinese Instrumental Ensemble and Rock Band as well as Creative Music);Japanese language;
- Sports (Archery, Taekwondo, Dance);
- Visual Art (Plaster Cast drawing，Graphic Design Drawing，Procreate Computer Comics)
- Working after school or Saturdays

Coach for both Scrabble Team and Debating Team (starting September 2025)
Job Duties :
- plan and conduct after-school debate and Scrabble training for students
- prepare and coach students for external English debate and scrabble competitions
Requirements :
- Prior experience as a coach, competitor, or judge in both debate and Scrabble
- Strong knowledge of formats and judging standards of debate and Scrabble competitions
- Excellent English communication and teaching skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse skill levels
- Patient and enthusiastic
- Prior experience in competitive debate and Scrabble competitions
