Miki is hiring a Product Development Manager to manage, develop and create a collection of custom journeys for marketing and selling purposes. This role works with key partners to develop programs and serves for sales team across Asia, both online and offline. The position also partners with our Marketing Department to develop accurate Custom Journey trip materials. Our ideal candidate has an innovative mindset, a background in travel products and is passionate about travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the product innovation process of ideation, testing and implementation of our trips library, working with internal and external partners.
• Responsible for detailed communications with travel agent, year-round pricing and pre-journey advisements.
• Vet and consciously build rapport and relationships with domestic and international vendors, mainly via email but sometimes via phone.
• Work closely with sales offices in Asia to understand clients’ requirements, and make recommendations for different markets.
• Partner with Marketing as needed including developing and executing marketing emails, developing and proofing journey books, and maintaining and updating the Custom Journeys content on the website.
• Assist department with proofing pre-trip and final documents.

Qualifications:

• 5 years equivalent work experience, preferably in the travel agency.
• Manage product inventory, product sourcing.
• Global-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, and to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
