Senior Engineer / Engineer – Functional Materials

Duties

The appointee will focus on developing functional materials for healthcare applications and contribute to a dynamic and efficient R&D team. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting formulation and product development in functional materials, particularly organic synthesis;
• Characterizing composite materials using techniques such as FTIR, TGA, and DSC;
• Evaluating mechanical performance and processability of formulations;
• Coordinating and executing on-site trials;
• Collaborating with research staff on various R&D projects; and
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Organic Synthesis, Material Science/Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines;
• Experience with PVC processing and characterization is an advantage;
• Hands-on experience in various R&D activities;
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
• Positive attitude with strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills;
• With sense of ownership and accountability for work; and
• Good command of English and Chinese, with strong skills in report writing, presentations, and literature/patent research.

Salary and Benefits

We offer 5-day work, attractive remuneration package to the successful candidates. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
