Principal Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions based on business requirements
• Define and maintain network standards and guidelines for configuration and set-up of network infrastructure
• Responsible for information security, network and cyber security related projects and compliance issues
• Perform network monitoring and performance tuning, troubleshooting and maintenance
• Manage and liaise with vendors and system integrators
• Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture
• Provides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Conducts testing of network systems
• Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
• Evaluates and reports on new network technologies to enhance capabilities of the network

Requirements

• Hi Diploma or above in Computer Science or other related disciplines.
• Holder of Huawei network certification is an advantage.
• At least 2 years’ experience in network operation and maintenance related experience.
• Proficient in the principles of network routing and switching protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS-VPN, and STP
• Proficient in the configuration, management, and monitoring of firewall devices from mainstream firewall vendors such as Huawei, Cisco, and Fortinet
• Fluent in Cantonese, Putonghua, and English. Proficiency in reading and writing technical documentation in English
