About the Role 

Join our IT team as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality systems through hands-on manual testing. You will work closely with Test Leads, Project Leads, and business stakeholders on a variety of projects, helping to ensure every release is stable, reliable, and ready for users.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has a sharp eye for detail, and wants to build a career in software testing within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan, create, execute, and maintain manual test cases for system functionality, usability, and business workflows.

• Perform regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system changes and releases.

• Identify, reproduce, and document defects clearly, including steps to reproduce and impact analysis.

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and Test Leads to support smooth project delivery.

• Review requirements and test scenarios to identify risks, gaps, and potential issues early.

• Prepare test results, progress updates, and QA documentation to keep stakeholders informed.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, processes, and team quality standards.
  
  

Requirements: 

• Diploma or higher in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in software testing or manual QA is preferred, but strong fresh graduates with the right attitude will also be considered.

• Good understanding of testing concepts, test case design, defect tracking, and QA workflows. Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools is an advantage.

• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation is a plus.

• Exposure to APIs, web technologies, Java, Python, or shell scripting will be considered an advantage, but is not essential.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

• Fluent in Cantonese and English, both written and spoken.
