About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Administrative professional to support our HR Manager across a broad spectrum of functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth HR operations and efficient office administration. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful problem-solver with strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach.
Job Responsibilities
HR Operations Management: Assist in managing end-to-end HR processes including compensation & benefits, onboarding/offboarding, leave management, and recruitment support.
Data Management & Reporting: Maintain employee records. Compile accurate HR metrics and reports for management review. Prepare and process expense claims and reimbursements for C-suite executives with discretion and efficiency.
Benefits & Compliance Administration: Administer staff benefits programs. Support the development and implementation of HR policies to ensure compliance with Hong Kong (and ideally Macau) employment ordinances.
Process Improvement & Digitalization: Actively contributes to streamlining workflows and digitalization initiatives by leveraging HRIS, time & attendance systems, and advanced MS Office skills (particularly Excel for data analysis and Word for document control).
Office & Events Administration: Oversee general office administration, including supplies, maintenance, and vendor coordination. Plan and coordinate staff engagement activities such as the annual dinner and other team events.
Project Support: Assist the HR Manager with various ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as required.
Job Requirements
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of solid, hands-on experience covering the full spectrum of HR and administrative functions.
Strong analytical mindset with advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in data analysis, report generation, and creating complex documents is essential.
In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and HR best practices. Knowledge of Macau labor law is an advantage.
Excellent trilingual communication skills (written and spoken) in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Proven interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to interact confidently with staff at all levels, including C-suite executives.
Highly self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of working independently with a strong sense of ownership.
Experience in organizing company events and activities is highly desirable.
Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered for the position of Senior HR & Administrative Officer.
Immediate available is preferred.
