Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and implementing overall shipping functional strategy objectives to maximize the efficiency and profitability of the Company, and to achieve the best practices in systems, processes and technology

• Lead a small team for the entire shipping operation including I/E documentation, shipment schedules and logistics arrangements

• Liaise with suppliers, carriers and forwarders to ensure timely shipment

• Collaborate with buyers/merchandising teams to plan orders and schedule shipment

• Monitor the cost of logistics service providers and evaluate their performance

Requirements:

• Degree holder, preferably in Supply Chain or related disciplines is preferable

• 3–5 years of experience in trading, or related fields.

• Experience in import operations of China is essential.

• Knowledge of custom declaration, clearance processes, and LC documentation is required.
