Our client is a Global Logistic Company, they are now looking for a candidate to join their Aviation team.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Providing professional security and support in resolving shipment related queries
- Actively participating in Company expansion project as assigned
- Establish professional liaison to ensure strong links are maintained between the Company and such authorities
- Co-ordinate and conduct customer tours of facilities to highlight the level of security
- Handle Security audit raised by Regulators, TAPA and Carrier, and ensure compliances
- Source appropriate security vendors with respect to the purchase, installation, maintenance of security equipment and systems
- Enlist the support of all staff to ensure that environment is safe and secure
- Develop, implement and monitor policies, procedures and security practices to safeguard employees, customers’ shipments, company assets and information against loss, damage or incident
- Co-ordinate security activities and ensure compliance of staff and sub-contractors with security procedures as specified in the Regional Security Policy and Procedures Manual
- Conduct security audits (and assist other audit teams e.g. GSOP), both proactively and reactively to assess the effectiveness of security practices and procedures
- Initiate, co-ordinate and conduct security related investigations such as losses and other security incidents relating to Company assets, personnel and shipments carried
- Ensure that all incidents or losses are thoroughly and professionally investigated, that the causes are identified and that the appropriate measures are taken to minimize and prevent re-occurrence, ensure that any resources available to the Company in terms of assets or shipment recovery are utilized and that legal action is initiated where appropriate
Requirements:
- Degree holder in related disciplines
- 5-8 years of experience in Aviation Security
- Excellent understanding of corresponding legal regulations and ordinance
- Strong communication skills; cross-cultural competency and interpersonal understanding
- Be able to influence change at all levels of the organization
