Head of Shenzhen Operations (Ref: RO-SZ)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the marketing team to solicit and develop the bank’s business in Mainland China
  • Liaise with PRC and Hong Kong customers and financial institutions to explore and capture business opportunities
  • Formulate strategy and business development plans under the guidance of the Senior Management
  • Be accountable for business performance and daily operations of Shenzhen Branch and four Sub-Branches
  • Build and maintain social networks across Hong Kong and Mainland China to identify and develop business opportunities
  • Monitor the asset quality of portfolios
  • Represent the Bank in dealing with the local Chinese authorities and regulators
  • Provide information to clients and the necessary PRC government authorities to ensure smooth progress of the related business activities
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and requirements in both Hong Kong and the PRC

Requirements:

  • University degree with minimum 10 years banking experience with at least five years at managerial level in sizeable banks
  • Minimum 5 years’ China banking experience and familiar with the PRC banking regulations
  • In-depth corporate banking and commercial lending, marketing and credit analysis skill
  • Required to work at the Shenzhen branch
  • Good business connection
  • Fluent in written & spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
