Associate Creative Director / Senior Art Director (Advertising)

About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Associate Creative Director / Senior Art Director to join our creative team at Purple Cow Communications Ltd in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong. This full-time role will involve leading the conceptualization and execution of visually striking advertising campaigns that drive engagement and achieve our clients' objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with the team, including copywriters and account managers, to develop cohesive and impactful advertising concepts

  • Oversee the design and production of all visual elements, including print, digital, and multimedia assets

  • Ensure the consistent application of brand identity and visual style guidelines across all campaign materials

  • Present ideas and creative work to clients, soliciting feedback and making revisions as needed

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers to help them develop their skills

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices in the advertising industry

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of solid design experience working in advertising agency

  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create visually stunning, conceptually driven advertising campaigns

  • Good sense of art direction, graphic sense, skills on layout presentation and artwork production

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Independent, dynamic, passionate, self-confident with innovative thinking

  • Good strategic thinking, communication and presentation skills

  • Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator; familiar with and capable of using other AI-powered visual creation tools.

  • Fluent in Cantonese is a must. English and Mandarin is an advantage

  • Less experience will be considered as Senior Art Director.
