IT Manager (Web Development)

Opportunities:

  • Develop B2B2C e-Commerce Platform on Cloud with latest technologies
  •  Lead a highly dynamic and innovative team in Agile/Scrum approach

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for Project Management of the eCommerce Platform (WordPress+WooCommerce) Development: Manage user requirement collection, and lead analysis, design, develop and quality assurance on cloud environment
  • Take lead of development team and work with different stakeholders including management, business units, vendors and internal IT colleagues etc.
  • Plan and procure external/internal resources according to the scope and budget of the project; manage and maintain that resource plan
  • Identify and analyze each solution’s costs & benefits, pros & cons, and suggest the best accordingly
  • Formulate and apply IT standards, policies, procedures, and best practices in the implementation, maintenance and change management of applications/application modules in Agile/Scrum way
  • Governing System Implementation for purposes such as integration, performance optimization, security and scalability
  • Perform adhoc tasks assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Degree / Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • At least 10 years working experience, with at least 5 years in management position
  • Hands-on experience in Project Management Tool, e.g. OpenProject, JIRA
  • Hands-on experience in Git or related version control concepts
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum Development, Microservices architecture and REST API Integration
  • Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, Cloud (Azure/AWS) serverless development (Azure Function/AWS Lambda, Docker Container, DevOps+CI/CD) would be an advantage
  • Hands on experience on WordPress+WooCommerce and other E-Commerce Platform Development is an advantage
  • Project Management Professional / PRINCE II / Scrum / Agile certification is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, self-motivated and good leadership, can work independently and deal with the tight project schedule
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
