Senior System Analyst (eCommerce)

Opportunities:

  • Develop B2B2C e-Commerce Platform with latest technologies

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the eCommerce Platform (WordPress+WooCommerce) Development: User requirement collection and feasibility study; Convert systems requirements into application systems through system design and physical development of the system on cloud environment
  • Analysis requirement and provide requirement specification, functional specification, system design, prototype
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum Project Management, coordinate with different stakeholders to gather and convert new business requirement/workflow to new change request
  • Lead development team for system design, development, testing, quality assurance and system launch; and monitor their progress through project planning, project tasks review and status report
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as required

Requirements:

  • Degree / Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • At least 7 years working experience, with at least 3 years in development, system, database and architectural design in WordPress+WooCommerce / e-Commerce Platform
  • Hands-on experience in web application design and development (PHP, HTML5, CSS, Vue.js, React.js, Node.js, Responsive Design), good knowledge in RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g. Mongo DB)
  • Hands-on experience in Project Management Tool, e.g. OpenProject, JIRA
  • Hands-on experience in Git or related version control concepts
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum Development, Microservices architecture and REST API Integration
  • Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, Cloud (Azure/AWS) serverless development (Azure Function/AWS Lambda, Docker Container, DevOps+CI/CD) would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, self-motivated and good leadership, can work independently and deal with the tight project schedule
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as System Analyst
