About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead / Solutions Architect with strong Web3 expertise to join our Technology team. In this role, you will lead the technical vision and implementation of our Web3 and cloud-native applications while ensuring best practices in security, scalability, and cost optimization. You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, designing system architecture for blockchain-based applications, and establishing engineering processes that enable rapid, secure development in both traditional and decentralized environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 engineers, providing technical direction and career development through regular 1:1s and code reviews.

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures on AWS using serverless technologies, containers, and microservices that integrate with blockchain networks.

• Build scalable Web3 applications that interact with smart contracts, NFT marketplaces, and DeFi protocols.

• Establish and enforce engineering best practices including CI/CD, unit testing, and code quality standards.

• Optimize cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining high availability and performance metrics (99.9%+ SLA).

• Implement and manage robust security postures, including threat mitigation, compliance frameworks, and vulnerability management.

• Architect scalable database solutions using PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and other technologies as needed.

• Build and optimize high-performance APIs and backend systems capable of handling millions of requests.

• Collaborate with product management to define technical requirements and implementation strategies.

• Drive DevSecOps initiatives, integrating security into the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering roles with at least 3 years in technical leadership positions.

• Strong expertise in AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, and CloudFormation/ Terraform.

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Node.js, TypeScript, and PHP.

• Experience building and scaling applications using frameworks like FastAPI, NestJS, Django, and Express.

• Deep understanding of database technologies including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and time-series databases.

• Proven track record of implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

• Experience with security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.

• Strong system architecture skills with the ability to design scalable, resilient systems.

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.

• Minimum 1 year of experience with Web3 technologies, including:
  - EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) and smart contract development/integration
  - Working with blockchain libraries like ethers.js or web3.js
  - Experience with DeFi protocols and mechanismsNFT development and implementation (minting, trading systems, metadata standards)
  - Knowledge of blockchain security practices and common vulnerabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Web3 ecosystems and multi-chain architectures.

• Experience with Solidity smart contract development and auditing.

• Familiarity with crypto wallets integration and Web3 authentication.

• Understanding of tokenomics and token distribution mechanisms.

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes/ECS.

• Experience with performance optimization and load testing.

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty).

• Experience mentoring junior engineers and fostering team growth.

• Background in security engineering or cloud security best practices.
