Job Description

We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Social Media Specialist / Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will craft compelling content and effective visual presentation, driving engagement and build brand awareness for our platform(s).

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and high-quality content for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, WeChat, RedNote etc.), websites and other marketing channels, to drive engagement and followers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and consumer preferences to refine strategies and maximize ROI. 
• Use analytics tools to monitor and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvements. 
• Collaborate with the design and account teams to ensure content aligns with brand goals.
• Any other ad hoc assignments when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Creative Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in content creation, social media, communications, journalism, marketing or other creative industries, with mainland China social media platforms is a plus.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English and Cantonese (Mandarin proficiency is a plus).
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in photo and content editing software, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva.
• Experience in video shooting, editing and familiarity with video editing tools, including Premiere Pro and After Effect, is a plus.
• Strong passion for positivity, creative thinking, storytelling and digital marketing who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, are likely to all be attributes of the successful candidate.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as a Social Media Assistant.
