Promotion and Communication Officer

Sailing Federation of Hong Kong, China (HKSF) would like to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Promotion and Communication Officer. The job holder will report to the Secretary General for Promotion and Communication Affairs.

Responsibilities:

·         To update HKSF website, social media and chosen digital channels on all content and answer queries in the digital inbox.  

·         To write, create graphic and video design for various projects of promotion of sailing.

·         To take lead of new digital projects such as website.

·         To produce and distribute monthly HKSF e-newsletter.

·         To coordinate and work with other team and parties on various projects.

·         To collaborate with all stakeholders on promotion of sailing activities and maintain relationships with media contacts.

KPIs

·         Positive HKSF brand recognition and well-established network of communication with the stakeholders.

·         Increase in sailor’s engagement on the chosen channels.

·         Website and social media traffic growth.

·         Successful completion of various digital or promotion projects.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·         Good at building relationships – ability to generate respect and trust from others. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese are a must.

·         Enthusiasm.

·         Proficiency in major software applications (MS office, Canva, Adobe, Photoshop).  Video editing experience are preferable. Experience in Website, Mobile App development is a plus.

·         Degree holder or above in Marketing, journalism, or other relevant disciplines.

·         Creative, self-motivating and well organized, able to work independently and handle projects from A to Z.

·         Minimum 1 year’s experience.

·         Sailing knowledge is a plus; 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing is also an advantage.

A base salary plus benefits (Bonus + 13th month salary, MPF, Insurance, Annual Leave etc…).
