Main Duties

• In charge of the daily operation, administration and management of the Scout Flying Academy;

• Plan for the development of the Academy and provide recommendations on related activities and projects across the Association;

• Plan, organise and deliver aviation programmes and training;

• Ensure the effective management and maintenance of flight simulators and other facilities;

• Manage resources allocation and utilisation, including flight simulator booking arrangements;

• Conduct evaluation and assessment for aviation programmes and training;

• Participate in relevant committees and meetings as required.

Requirements

• A degree from a reputable university, preferably in aviation studies, or equivalent;

• Holder of the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and Instructor Rating recognised by member states of the  International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO);

• Qualification in approved flight simulation standards recognised by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), or equivalent authorities;

• Extensive experience in aviation training with familiarity in aviation planning and evaluation;

• Good understanding of general aviation industry;

• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;

• Strong leadership and organisational skills;

• Well-organised, detail-oriented and highly responsible;

• Mature, self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure;

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
