Responsibilities:
- Execute DCM origination and execution tasks, including credit analysis and documentation.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, offering effective advice, proposals, and solutions for debt financing.
- Oversee bond issuance processes, coordinating with issuers and investors to secure projects and raise funds.
- Prepare and manage the internal approval process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for smooth and timely execution.
- Support the team leader with various DCM-related tasks and projects.
- Conduct credit rating assessments and prepare necessary documentation.
- Manage bond operations for local urban investment companies and state-owned enterprises, providing solutions for primary and secondary bond issuance and trading.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring high-quality execution and maintaining effective communication between stakeholders.
- Establish and nurture relationships with domestic and international investors, including banks, securities firms, funds, and other institutional investors.
- Coordinate with legal, auditing, rating agencies, and other professionals involved in transactions to ensure successful pricing and closing.
- Update market information and provide research for debt issuance activities across various markets.
- Monitor debt ratings, pitch, manage syndicate functions, organize road shows, and coordinate marketing and book-building efforts.
Requirements:
- Degree in finance, economics, accounting, or law, successful candidate is required to apply for registration for SFC Regulated Activities Types 1 & 4.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant DCM execution experience.
- Strong deal origination skills, capable of assisting the team with bond issuance.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, including the capital markets in Hong Kong and the PRC.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in oral and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.”
