Purpose of the Role:
This role acts as primary business partner across all commercial and brand teams in Hong Kong, who is responsible for overseeing the financial and business performance of the retail business. This leadership role provides sound insights and recommendations in support of fact-based decision making to senior leaders for brand/commercial profitability improvements and to drive long term strategic and sustainable growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a co-pilot and strong business partner to the General Manager and Brand Heads.

• Lead the Brand Controlling Team to manage and oversee budget plans for brand business performance to align with the corporate target

• Formulate, consolidate and manage yearly budget plan, sales targets and operating profit to achieve divisional growth

• Facilitate management on monitoring multiple brand P&L in terms of topline forecast, costs allocation and controlling. Provide actionable insights to drive revenue growth and cost control

• Manage and monitor the progress of retail and net sales performance of individual brands according to profitability needs

• Collaborate closely with Regional HQ and Brand Heads to provide support and advice on developing financial forecasts and budget plan that aligns with company strategic direction

• Partnering with Brand Heads to provide advisory support in the data analysis for the business to drive growth in the profitability and maximizing marketing ROI

• Review sales performance across various perspectives, provide key findings and insights for management decision making

• Review business case study for new brand and channel expansion with extensive research (both qualitative and quantitative) to evaluate business potential for the sales and profit projection to share insightful recommendations

• Identify financial risks and opportunities, implement robust financial controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

• Lead to provide comprehensive financial analytical reports for senior leadership and key business stakeholders

• Mentor the team to upskill with in-depth knowledge during the transformation process

Job Requirements:

• University graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related disciplines

• 12-15 years relevant experiences in sales & business planning, commercial controlling and business partnering, preferably from beauty or luxury retail Industry

• Professional accounting qualification (HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications) is highly preferrable

• Good leadership skill in team management

• Strong business sense and analytical skills

• Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, coping with pressure and tight deadlines

• Experience in financial modeling, budget plan and sales forecast

• Agile mindset to embrace challenges

• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese  

• Proficiency in Excel, Power-point and Power BI

• Knowledge in SAP modules will be a plus
