Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will undertake to mainly assist the Post Contract Administration of an NEC contract for communication system of the new MTR stations, which includes supporting the Contract/Commercial/Project managers and engineers on the cost administration and reporting through to the project close out. To support the on-going post contract administration process leading to successful project closeout. We desire following key accountabilities:-
Assist in preparing subcontract packages based on contract requirements;
Provide estimate of quantities based on measuring from drawings;
Assist in preparation of estimates for works and reviewing the costs;
Interface with engineers and subcontractors to obtain working records;
Prepare substantiation and backup information/document to variations;
Maintain and monitor site reports/documentations in a quality manner;
Carry out other duties assigned by immediate supervisor / management
Requirements:
Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:
Higher diploma or degree holder in Quantity Surveying / Engineering or related disciplines.
Prior site experience or quantity surveying experience with contractors is preferred.
Basic understanding of project management.
Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as a good team player.
Good PC skill including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
QS trainee will be offered for those applicants with less experience
