Accounting Officer

We are looking for an experienced candidate to provides high-level secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Finance and the Finance Department, ensuring efficient daily operations and professional coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The position will be under the leadership of Finance Controller/Director of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full spectrum secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Finance, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and correspondence handling

  • Assist in prepare and format financial reports, presentations, meeting papers, and minutes for management and board-level meetings.

  • Assist in handling insurance claims by liaising with insurers, tracking submissions, and maintaining records; manage license registers, renewals, compliance filings, and related administrative follow-ups.

  • Maintain organized and confidential filing systems, both electronic and hard copy, for finance documents, contracts, and records

  • Coordinate with internal departments and external parties on finance-related meetings, deadlines, inquiries, and follow-up actions

  • Monitor and track document approvals, contract renewals, and key reporting timelines to support the Finance Department’s deliverables

  • Provide general office administration support to the Finance team, including procurement of office supplies and support on ad hoc projects

  • Undertake other assigned tasks and projects to support department operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor holder in Business Administration, Accounting / Finance or related disciplines

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity.

  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, proactive initiative, and the ability to work independently.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills, discretion with sensitive financial data, and ability to thrive under pressure.

  • Proficient in both spoken & written English, Putonghua is a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and business communication software

  • Fresh graduates will be considered
