DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the hotel and all its equipment, ancillary maintenance and repair services and protection of the property’s asset.

• Provide advice to the Senior Management on all aspects of maintenance support, environmental controls and the operational efficiency of the property.

• Assist to ensure that the effective financial management of the Engineering Department by setting maintenance budgets, capital works programs and engineering plans and ensuring that performance against there are regularly monitored and reviewed.

• Responsible for the general cost control aspects of maintenance, the preparation of departmental cost budgets and their implementation and submission to the Management.

• Assist in planning, implements and administers an energy management program by establishing energy reduction objectives, the maintenance of records and regular reporting of performance against these objectives.

• Environmental controls and energy conservation systems. Evaluates, controls and records energy usage and implements and upgrades energy conservation systems.

• Ensure adherence to all statutory regulations and fire codes by regularly reviewing policies and safety procedures.

 REQUIREMENTS

• Higher Diploma or above in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.

• Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker Grade A or above.

• Minimum 8 years with hotel engineering working experience or equivalent related experience.

• Good technical knowledge in electrical system, fire services system, plumbing & drainage system and MVAC system, etc.

• Well organized with excellent leadership skills.

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in both oral and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
