Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and market-savvy Product Designer to drive the entire development lifecycle of our house-brand plastic products (including household items and industrial containers). In this role, you will transform innovative ideas into market-competitive physical products, spanning from conceptual design and market research to final design approval.

Key Responsibilities

• House-Brand Product Design: Lead the R&D of plastic products for our proprietary brands, covering household supplies, industrial/commercial storage containers, and more.

• Market Research & Trend Analysis: Conduct regular market studies to analyze consumer needs and material trends to discover new product opportunities.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, production, and marketing teams to ensure designs align with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and cost-efficiency.

• Ad-hoc Project Support: Complete sudden or temporary design-related tasks assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in product or industrial design.

• Education Background: Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or above in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related discipline.

• Professional Skills: Proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting software, specifically SolidWorks and AutoCAD, with precise technical drawing capabilities.

• Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with 3D printing technology and a deep understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes (experience in plastic injection molding is preferred).

• Work Attitude: Possess a creative mindset paired with a strong team-player spirit to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
