Key Responsibilities:

•     Strategic Planning: Assist in planning and optimizing digital campaigns to enhance brand awareness, engagement and thought leadership. Conduct competitive analysis to inform content strategy.

•     Content Creation: Prepare high-quality and engaging content for SLD’s social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others.

•     Platform Management: Manage day-to-day operations, schedule and publish tailored content to maximize reach and engagement. Respond promptly to comments and DMs, and foster follower interactions.

•     Cross-Border Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with China teams on mainland social media platforms (e.g., WeChat, RedNote, Weibo, Douyin) on a daily basis.

•     Trend Integration: Stay updated on social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

•     Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics and compile weekly reports with actionable insights.

Requirements:

•     University graduate with at least 4 years of social media management experience. Prior experience in the design / lifestyle sector is an advantage.

•     Proficient in photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CapCut) with a strong sense of layout aesthetics and visual storytelling.

•     Excellent bilingual (English and Chinese) copywriting skills are essential, with particular excellence in written English.

•     Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn algorithms and best practices for Hong Kong and international audiences. Basic knowledge of Mainland China social media platforms is a plus.

•     Basic knowledge of social media analytics (Meta Business Suite, Advertising Metrix, LinkedIn Analytics)

•     Detail-oriented, organized, creative, and a proactive team player.

•     Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Social Media Executive role.
