Responsibilities:

• Assist in bed booking and handle related phone enquires;
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families during the admission process;
• Register patients by collecting and verifying demographic, medical, and insurance information;
• Inform patients of financial responsibilities, including co-pays, deductibles, and payment plans;
• Deposit collection;
• Communicate bed availability and patient status to relevant departments;
• Inform patients of financial responsibilities, including co-pays, deductibles, and payment plans;
• Coordinate with transport or emergency services for patient transfers or urgent admissions;
• Answer internal and external telephone calls, and convey to the appropriate personnel correctly and efficiently;
• Handle out-patient's appointment bookings by phone;
• Dispatch urgent messages during emergencies; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• A Diploma or Associate Degree in any discipline is preferred;
• Minimum 1 years' relevant experience, prior work experience in hospital industry is preferable;
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications;
• Willing to learn positive service attitude and result-oriented;
• Demonstrates good communication, customer services, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and be a good team player; and
• Shift duty is required.
• Candidate with solid experience may be considered for the position of Admission Officer.

Work location: The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong in Tseung Kwan O. 

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
