Responsibilities： 

• Assist the department Nursing Officer to lead and supervise the staff to develop and support the smooth running of the in-patient services;
• Deliver comprehensive patient care including Chinese medicinal nursing care,  integrated Chinese-Western Medicine (ICWM)-related care and other general nursing care;
• Conduct performance evaluation of the department staff;
• Hold responsibility, coordinate and implement staff orientation, in service training and staff development program;
• Effectively communicate the Hospital’s vision, mission and values to unit staff;
• Ensure that the system of clinical policies and procedures are in line, thus guiding nursing practice;
• Act as mentor, coach and counselor to nursing staff, be a role model of desired leadership and team behaviors of the nursing team;
• Implement safety work for maintaining safe practice;
• Maintain and enhance nursing practice standard through participation in quality improvement programs;
• Assist the department Nursing Officer to participate in quality improvement initiatives in the department; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. 
   

Requirements： 

• Registered Nurse (Nursing Council of Hong Kong) with valid practising certificate;
• Preferably with Degree in Nursing;
• Preferably with a post-graduate Master Degree in Nursing;
• Preferably with Chinese Medicinal Nursing Qualification;
• Possess valid BLS and ACLS;
• At least 5 years relevant experience in in-patient services and 1 year in nursing management role;
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment;
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese Languages; and
• Shift duty is required.

Work location: The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong in Tseung Kwan O.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
