Assistant Computer Officer (Ref. 220000Y2) (Closing date: May 17, 2022)
Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services

The appointee will primarily work as a programmer/analyst in the development and maintenance of administrative systems of the Office. 

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; (ii) at least 2 years’ work experience in application development; (iii) experience in project co-ordination and requirement collection; (iv) experience in system and training support to end-users; (v) good analytical and problem-solving skills; (vi) a proven track record as a good team member; (vii) self-motivation; and (viii) a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of and work experience in Research Information System, data extraction and analysis tools, web application development, ASP.Net, Visual Studio, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, JavaScript will be advantageous. 

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
