Department of Chemistry
The appointee will assist in undergraduate teaching, and will be responsible for (a) preparing teaching experiments; (b) maintaining teaching laboratories; and (c) performing other tasks as assigned by the Lecturers. Working beyond normal office hours may be required.
Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education; and (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese, English (Syllabus B, or at least Grade C for Syllabus A), Mathematics and Chemistry; OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese, English, Mathematics and Chemistry): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; OR passed 4 subjects in HKCEE/HKDSE, including Chinese and English, one of which must be at Grade E/Level 2 or above and the others at Grade C/Level 3 or above. Experience in laboratory work is preferred.

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
