Estates Management Office
The appointee will (a) supervise landscaping maintenance works, pest control and related projects; (b) perform frequent outdoor inspections including slope and non-landscaping areas; (c) liaise with stakeholders; and (d) perform any other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays when necessary.
Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education; (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (iii) at least 1 year’s post-qualification experience, preferably in operation and maintenance of the landscaping field or outdoor work; (iv) fast and accurate typing skill; (v) the ability to prepare notices and reports in both English and Chinese; (vi) good computer and interpersonal skills; and (vii) the ability to work under tight schedules. Possession of additional qualifications in Horticulture, Arboriculture or Landscape Management, and knowledge of AutoCAD or possession of a valid Hong Kong driving licence (Class 2 or 3) will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
