Faculty of MedicineThe appointee will work in the Finance and Development team under the Faculty and Planning Office, Faculty of Medicine.He/ She will be responsible for (a) preparing financial statements/reports; (b) reconciling, compiling and analyzing account information; (c) assisting in budgeting and performing financial management for special projects; (d) collaborating with internal and external parties to provide procurement, financial and administrative support; (e) handling enquiries from stakeholders; and (f) performing other tasks as assigned.
Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ post-qualification work experience; (iii) proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese; (iv) proficiency in numbers and MS Office, particularly Excel; (v) a strong sense of responsibility, attentiveness to details and accuracy; (vi) a good team player with analytical and problem-solving skills; and (vii) the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Having work experience in Accounting or Finance would be an advantage. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
